Our Leaders
Timi and Folake Oloruntoba
Timi is a seasoned software developer and consultant with a professional background spanning financial services, pharmaceuticals, and the public sector. Folake, is a dedicated professional mentor, who has extensive experience supporting children with special needs in mainstream education and is a qualified Cognitive Behavioural Therapist.
Together, they have been deeply involved in youth ministry, intercession, outreach, missions, and evangelism. In their previous churches, Timi and Folake served as youth Ministers and co-headed the intercession team. Their ministry journey has taken them across Europe and Nigeria on mission work, driven by their passion to see God’s power demonstrated and His people empowered to live victorious lives through the Holy Spirit.
Married for over thirty-two years, they are blessed with a son. They enjoy travelling, walking, and serving together. At Broxbourne Community Church, Timi and Folake lead the prayers and counselling teams, providing pastoral care and guiding others in faith.
Vince Adon
Vince was born into a Christian family and his early encounter with Christianity was within the Catholic church. However, at the age of 9 his sisters introduced him to Jesus Christ and that’s when his personal relationship with Jesus began, which has shaped his life ever since.
Even in his early years, Vince shared the gospel enthusiastically with friends and was an active member of a Christian students’ group in boarding school. Vince’s passion for serving and his dedication to ministry grew over 28 years in the church where he found Christ, and where he served in youth ministry and in various leadership roles.
Vince’s deep love for God’s Word and his heart for serving others is evident. A guiding scripture for him is: “Each of you should use whatever gift you have received to serve others, as faithful stewards of God’s grace in its various forms.” (1 Peter 4:10 NIV)
In his professional life, Vince is a solicitor and the director of a law firm and is blessed with four wonderful children.
At Broxbourne Community Church, Vince leads the Welcome and Stewarding Team, where he warmly serves and guides others in their faith journey.
