Meet Kunle and Toun Balogun, the lead pastors of Broxbourne Community Church — a welcoming and growing church at the heart of the vibrant Broxbourne community in Hertfordshire. Passionate about faith, people, and community transformation, they are dedicated to helping individuals and families grow spiritually, build meaningful connections, and discover purpose through Christ.

Our journey began when we embraced Christianity at the age of 21 in 1990. Since then, our mission has been unwavering: to share the liberating joy of Christ with as many people as possible.

Over the past three decades, we’ve had the privilege of walking alongside individuals from diverse backgrounds, offering friendship, guidance, and mentorship. Our experiences have spanned across various age groups, marital statuses, and life stages, enriching our understanding of community and faith.

Throughout our journey, we’ve also actively served in leadership roles within the churches we’ve been a part of. Kunle brings his expertise as an IT consultant, while Toun serves as Executive Director of Chosen and Beloved — a charity connected to Broxbourne Community Church that supports victims and survivors of abuse – helping to bring hope, healing, and restoration. She also leads Precious One, our church-based community initiative.

Beyond our ministry, we cherish our role as partners in life, celebrating over 35 years of marriage. Our family, comprising four children and five grandchildren, continues to be a source of immense joy and blessing.
